So, today I'm just starting on setting up the new site.
I'm saying new site, but kevinbacks.com has been here for a while. I just haven't spent any time updating it.
I wiped out the old site some time ago because it depended on Flash for animations. It was pretty cool how the gallery could flip images over and show the stories behind them, but Flash was killed off because it opened up too many security holes.

My intention with the rebuilt site is to be able to support selling some of my photos, not just displaying them.

I've set a countdown time on the home page. For now, it has nothing to do with the timeline for building the site and gallery - It's counting down to my retirement date.
Once I get an actual launch date sorted out, I'll adjust the timer.
